I am also thrilled to introduce my collaboration with one of my favorite stores, Lost & Found in Los Angeles. I am featuring some of their products, which are in step with the sustainable lifestyle that I continuoulsy write about. With no further ado, please welcome: The gorgeous and sustainably made Wooden Bowls.
I love that these spaulted Cherry Bowls are made from fallen trees! And hidden in those fallen trees is wood disfigured by the beginnings of decomposition. The wood is turned on a lathe, producing strikingly unique bowls. The bowls are kiln dried to 6% moisture content to stabilize and prevent future cracking and checking. I am a huge fan of wooden bowls and have my salad in one every day. They are easy to care for.
Hand wash bowls with mild soap and water. Dry off with a towel. Do not place in dishwasher or submerge in water. The bowls have a food safe finish to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. We recommend that you apply mineral oil once a month to maintain the natural beauty of the wood and to help prevent the wood from being stained.
Made in Tunisia from beautiful Olive wood. These stunning bowls look gorgeous each on their own and can be used for salt, to spices to a small salad or sauce.
