I search for great utilitarian products that provide Humanitarian aid through Fair Trade. This product in particular, provides Humanitarian aid from the proceeds generated from the sale of handicraft items produced at the Spiral Foundation workshops in Nepal and Vietnam. All net proceeds from the handicraft sales are returned to Vietnam and Nepal to fund primary healthcare, medical and educational projects, giving to those involved in the production process a sense of pride that comes by helping and sustaining many others in even greater need than themselves.

All items designed by the Spiral Foundation are produced with consciousness towards the environment. Discarded materials are often used for/or incorporated in the Spiral Foundations gift line. All items are produced with a consciousness towards the preservation and revival of the local handicraft traditions.
